At Zahonero we are aware of the requirements to which goalkeeper gloves are subjected.

For this reason, we carry out performance tests on our foams to ensure that they comply with the necessary requirements for professional use. Due to the special properties of these foams, our R&D team has developed its own regulations (GZ) under adaptations of international reference standards.

Properties

Impact
absorption

A greater impact absorption means more contact time of the ball with the palm, improves ball control, grip capacity and reduces impact on the joints.

Wet Grip

At Zahonero we have developed a test to measure the static coefficient of friction (grip) to measure the grip property of the ball under rainy conditions.

Dry Grip

At Zahonero we have developed a test to measure the static coefficient of friction (grip) to measure the ball grip property under dry weather conditions.

Resistance

This test measures the material’s resistance to abrasion. Higher abrasion resistance ensures greater endurance of the material under intense use.
